  • Yes, discover a wealth of free features that empower your dating experience.
    We also offer a Premium subscription for those looking to unlock exclusive functionalities.

  • Our likes are divided into two sections: you can see everyone who liked your date idea; and you can also see everyone who replied to your likes. All for free!

  • All likes and replies are unlimited, yes!

  • Likes shows everyone who liked your date idea. Here, you can review their full profile and choose who to ignore or reply with a first message.
    Replies are coming from those replying to the likes you've sent. Here, you can also review their full profile and ignore or continue the conversation.

  • We take safety seriously, so we have implemented manual and automated verification processes to constantly verify users and activity. Look for the photo verified badge on a profile to increase your confidence in interactions.

  • You can do both. Blocking is available for every profile anywhere it's visible. To report someone, use the Flag option under any profile.

  • While in the app, under the settings screen 👤, you can turn on or off push notifications and email or text notifications too. Replying STOP to a text message will unsubscribe you. START will resume subscription.

  • The settings screen 👤 has an option to deactivate your profile. This will archive your information and will not show it to new people. Notifications will also stop.

  • Yes, you have two options to delete your account:

    1. Within the Mobile Application:
       • Access the settings screen 👤
       • Tap Account
       • Then Delete Account
       • Follow the instructions to complete deletion
       • Deletion here is automatic and takes less than 5 minutes
       • This is the preferred method to delete your personal information

    2. Via Email Request::
       • Access the settings screen 👤
       • Email us at hello@everydate.app
       • Subject line: Account Deletion Request
       • Body: provide login/account details used for verification (such as method to login, first name)
       • Make sure your email comes from the same email we have on the account
       • Depending on your request, more information might be needed to proceed
       • Note that this option could result in option 1 being the only viable option
       • Note that this method takes longer than option 1

    This action ensures all your information and interactions will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Yes, your dating preferences (age, distance, gender) will be applied to showing people around you, but you can further filter down based on the type of date activity you prefer. If you are subscribed to Premium, you'll be able to filter based on extra criteria.

  • When you don't like nor ignore a profile and just keep going to the next one, that profile will eventually go into the 'Seen Dates' section. This option is available on top right side of the Dates screen. This is where you can see someone again and have a second chance to like their date idea.

  • The same person might reappear later if they have changed their date idea.

  • We need your device's location only while using the app to show you possible dates based on your distance preference. Exact location is never shared with anyone.

  • With a basic account, location change is not possible and is received from your device only while using the app. With Premium, you can change your location to anywhere in the world.

  • Date of birth and gender can be changed in the app, but please contact us at hello@everydate.app to change your display name.

  • Depending on how you've logged in, under Account, you will have options to change your email or your password.

  • Pictures that do not abide by our terms are subject to removal.

  • Since the feed is about dating, we take the time to review each post to make sure it complies with our terms before it's visible to everyone.

  • At this time, most feature are better suited for online connectivity.

  • Currently, we offer these methods to login with or to create an account:
       Facebook - this is the preferred method as it's the most streamlined and easy
       Phone Number - will verify your login via text message
       Apple - using your Apple ID on iOS devices
       Email - alternative method but will require further verification




Common troubleshooting scenarios

Review this list of top problems you might encouter with our app. Reach us if your issue is still outstanding.

  • The issues could vary depending on your login method (Phone Number, Facebook, Apple, or Email). A good start is to check your internet connectivity. Follow any error prompts on screen for more specific clues. Make sure to type your Phone Number or Email/Password combinations correctly. Lastly, delete and reinstall the app. This will put you on the latest version and reset your app settings.

    Note that banned and disabled accounts will not be able to login.

  • If you see an Under Review message, please allow up to 48 hours for the review to complete. This message could trigger anytime from initial account creation to later during normal usage of the service.

    Accounts that violated our terms will get disabled and will not be able to login. User safety is our top priority, and violations are not tolerated.

  • ✓ Make sure your profile is complete and accurate.
    ✓ Make sure your location is shared with the app.
    ✓ Make sure your dating preferences are wide enough.
    ✓ Make sure your category filters are off.

  • Check your distance preferences to make sure they are what you want. If profiles are still farther away than expected, there could be a few other scenarios: the person was closer to you when you liked them; they changed their device location (currently this would limit their ability to use the app); or our algorithm picked someone slightly further that matched well on other characteristics.

  • Feel free to report this as an issue, but usually this happens if at the time of a like the profile was different than what it is today. For example, user changed some of their preferences or corrected parts of their profile (gender/age).

  • Make sure to check your device’s setting so that the Everydate app is allowed access to your location while in use. We do not require background location at the moment.

    iOS: Open your iOS settings > Everydate > Location

    Android: Open your phone's Settings > Apps > Everydate > Permissions > Location

  • Name change is currently not supported.
    Changing your date of birth is possible with limited times (Tap on the settings screen 👤 -> View and Edit Profile -> First Edit Pencil -> Birthday).

  • The most common scenario here is when users who’ve liked you or that you've liked get banned or disabled due to violations of our terms. Sometimes this could lead to you receiving a notification, but by the time you get to it, that profile has been removed.

  • Make sure our app has notifications enabled. The settings screen 👤 will inform you when this permission is missing.

    iOS: Open your iOS settings > Everydate > Notifications

    Android: Open your phone's Settings > Apps > Everydate > Permissions > Notifications

    Lastly, delete and reinstall the app. This will put you on the latest version and reset your app settings. Once the app in reinstalled, follow the prompts to allow notifications.

  • First step would be checking your internet connectivity. Once that's done, make sure the time settings on your device are accurate and set automatically.

  • This requires a complete profile and location permissions. Once these are done, come back and retry your post. If you're posting a picture, photo permissions will also be requested.

  • If you’re logged off and trying to get back in a previously used installation, our app will let you know which login method you’ve used before. If you delete the app, it’s always good to make a note of how you logged in so you can use the same credentials again once you reinstall.

  • If all else fails, always check your internet connectivity. If that does not help, delete and reinstall the app. This will put you on the latest version and reset your app settings.
